The latest links for Windows and Linux versions of OMP DE can be found below. The Windows Installation exists as a Zip (.zip) file while the Linux Installation exists as a tarball (.tar.gz). Other Utilities or Tools

The Excel crosshybridization tool which is only available for the Windows platform is available to all OMP DE customers. It is a quick way for OMP DE customers to use a familiar interface to quicky run and save crosshybridization experiments.


Perl scripts are provided to aid the OMP DE user with basic functions and getting used to the programming environment. They may be downloaded and modified for internal purposes by any current OMP DE customer.

      • Perl Script - Make And Run OEF from Fasta File.

        • This script will take a normally formatted Fasta file, make an OMP Experiment File (OEF) and perform as simulation on the sequences found in the original Fasta File.
      • Perl Script - Run OEF File.
        • Given an OMP Experiment File (OEF, which can be written manually, or using Visual OMP), this script will run using OMPServer.exe.
      • Perl Script - NetTm Example.
        • NetTm, defined as the Tm of a species at a certain known percentage can be found using this script. Eg. A NetTm could be the Tm at which a 65% of a Probe is bound to a Target.
      • Perl Script - Unigene To Fasta Conversion.
        • A script that converts Unigene files to standard Fasta files. This is especially for Visual OMP customers who which to blast against Unigene files.
