22) Results of Simulation with both Alleles and two Beacons
Assess the beacons by looking at the thermodynamics, percent bounds and the secondary structures of the heterodimers.
Look at the wild type allele with the beacon designed for it (indicated TRUE), the mutant allele with the beacon designed for it (also indicated TRUE) and the two heterodimers between one of the alleles and the "other" beacon.
Like before, you can use the Numerical Analysis graph to help determine a good annealing temperature. Simulating at other temperatures can be useful to investigate if secondary structures of beacons that don't hybridize to one of the alleles will be mainly in the folded or unfolded form.
