17) Designing a Beacon Probe Pair
Delete any remaining design rows from the Probe/Primer Design tab and make a new design for a Beacon Probe Pair with atp7b as the target sequence.
Select VAR1 in the Variation cell from the drop down list.
Apart from the stem specific parameters discussed before, the extra parameters to be set now (Allele ...) will show up in the advanced parameters grid. You can open up the Help-system by pressing F1 to view a description of these and all other parameters.
Hit the "Run Design" icon when you are done setting the parameters and checking your Experiment Conditions and Design Settings tabs.
