10) Assessing the Beacon through the Simulation Results
Click on "Yes" to view the Results Summary after the simulation has completed
One can assess the Beacon Probe by looking at:
the thermodynamics of the folded monomer
its melting temperature
the percentage of the beacon that will be in the folded form, this should be as close to 100% as possible, so that there will be little fluorescence due to unfolded beacons
the secondary structure of the beacon itself, click on the view-link in the "Graphic" column (outlined with the red circle)
